Nashville TN, home to thousands of aspiring musicians, engineers, producers, con men, sinners and saints not to mention the average Joe cowboy. A hub of art, tourism, sound, wealth and poverty, what better place to be a needle in a hay stack. Unless you’re Feedback Revival who is rapidly becoming match in the hay stack leaving a smoldering cloud of rock n roll in the wake of an absolutely massive wall of sound coupled with the madness of Bible belt born, New York raised front man Dan Fenton. Feedback Revival released their debut self titled EP on June 12th at Café Coco in Nashville TN. The response has been phenomenal. Feedback Revival: a befitting name for a group that takes their stylings from the MC5, The Stooges and God only knows what else… and blends it it into their own 21st Century Schizoid music. Thank God for giving them the guts to do it!” Grammy award winner. -John yosh-
Queens Boulevard is a road not many can say they have had the chance to walk down. Yet the four musicians who have built their homes at the end of this road can truly tell you the results of their journey have been astronomical. Hailing from across the U.S., Dustin Squire (Lead guitars and vocals) Dennis McGrath (Rhythm guitars and vocals) Ben Nelson (Bass) and Rev. Davis (Drums) come together to form one of Nashville’s greatest alt-rock bands.
Storming the underground scene in late 2009 they have practiced an intense tour schedule in and around the city. The group has developed an impressive following as well as a relationship with their fans. When asked how, they simply answer: “It’s easy to do when you love making music and have as much fun as we do playing it.” Though the band has gone through several transitions since their start one thing has remained constant: The ability to entertain.
When Queens Boulevard hits the stage it’s easy to see that their talent and passion has definitely
affected their local following. You can’t help but move and sing along to the music that they generate. With influences ranging from the Beatles and Zappa to more contemporary artists such as the Deftones, Brand New and Minus the Bear, Queens Boulevard have developed an incredibly energetic and exciting sound.
After releasing a four track EP in early 2010 entitled “Red Light Affair”, which includes a mix of some of their earlier and latest releases, the band has decided to not only include Nashville in their recent string of shows but also branch outside of the city. With tour dates across the east coast, Queens Boulevard has lit the fuse that will only end in an explosion of epic proportions. Queens Boulevard invites you to take a walk with them down a road only few have traveled. Though its streets may not be lined with gold, the company that you will keep will most certainly not disappoint.

The Black Shades formed in October 2009 in the disguise as a cover band called “The Red Square”. The original founding members, Aaron, Mike Dean, and Mike O’B formed a cover band while their current band was in defunct mode. During one of those many practices, they decided to start writing original tunes, and they really liked what was coming out of it. Skip forward to a few weeks later in November, and they added Lead Guitarist, Jared Kowalski and continued writing songs.
After various names were tried out, The Black Shades became the end product, and they played their first show in December 2009. In February 2010, TBS started their first EP “Turn Me On, Electric” at 1313 Studios in Nashville, recorded by Mike Vecchio. During this time, Jared bowed out of the band to gain control of financial issues. The trio that started the band recorded the EP by themselves, and pushed forward by adding Michael Thomas to take Jared’s place. In March, on the eve of the EP release, drummer
Mike O’Brien informed the band that he too would be leaving, for pretty much the same reason Jared had to leave, to secure a better financial future. Mike was soon replaced by Jerry Kessinger, a drummer TBS had met a few months prior while sharing a show with his former band.
Now here we are, 6 months later, several member changes, an EP, a handful of shows, and an official complete lineup. We are The Black Shades.
